This conference will examine the relationship between the city and photography. We welcome proposals analysing historical, cultural, socio-economic, and technical aspects of this relationship. Practising photographers are encouraged to submit proposals. The conference will bring together academics and practitioners to examine and illustrate the role of photography in representing urban life and landscapes, and in shaping urban ways of seeing.
